Why do you need access to my webcam during the training?

Last updated: Jan 22, 2026 3 views

As our courses can be used as part of an application for a radiation licence, we must be able to confirm that the person undertaking the training and sitting the tests is the same as the person receiving the certificate of attainment.

The course is designed to be continuously assessed rather than a single big exam at the end. Consequently, as assessments occur both within a module and at the end of each module, access to the webcam is required to confirm it is you who is doing the study and completing any assessment.

Throughout the course, images are randomly taken multiple times per minute and compared to the image taken at enrolment.

Note

Make sure your webcam is working properly and you are clearly visible in the frame at all times during modules and assessments.
